“ From when we are children we are taught when to speak and when to hold our tongues. We go through classrooms learning how to raise our hands, and later, how to raise our pens and words. We spend years learning how to be silent. I think that some of us stayed that way in some respects. I have always been aware of loneliness in the world around me, probably because I recognize it in myself.
